We are incredibly proud of our reputation as Hereford’s leading elderly care provider. For some 25 years we have been supporting people live an independent and active life.

Previously known as Kemble Care, we changed our name to Kemble at Home in 2017 because we feel that we do so much more than delivering care – we help people live the life they want and feel happy in their own home.

It is a great acknowledgement that we have been awarded a Top20 Home Care Providers Award 2018 from homecare.co.uk, the UK’s most prominent source of information on home care providers.
Who is elderly care for?
We see our main role as supporting people living a dynamic a life as they want. Many of our clients come to us because they want to stay active and engaged, and feel they could use some help with their day-to-day activities. We take on the responsibilities for their housekeeping tasks and we support them in getting out and about, so that they can focus on doing the things that keep them fit and happy.

That can mean we accompany them for a walk to the village shop, drive them to the local pub for a drink or join them to the gym or the swimming pool. We are delighted that we can make a difference in people’s life. And most of the time, it is not the fact that we are there to help with the shopping or reach the top shelves that is important, it is the sharing of experiences that counts.
Many of our clients suffer from complex physical conditions, and all our staff receive extensive training to support with such conditions. Whether it’s dementia, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis or visual impairments, to name but a few, our staff have the knowledge and experience to help our clients make most out of life. How does elderly care work?
Our elderly care services fall into two categories: care by the hour and live-in care. To learn more about each, click on the links below or keep scrolling down.
Live-in care is an economical alternative to a care home. A carer lives with you, in your own home. Live-in care is ideal for individuals or couples who want to remain in their own home and need support with their daily activities.
We can visit you any time of day, for as long as you like. Whether it is an hour to get ready in the morning or several visits to support with household tasks and care requirements, our carers will do whatever it takes to make your life easier.
