Here at Kemble at Home we believe our record of retaining staff has been tremendously important in keeping us at the forefront of the care industry.

Having staff happy to stay with us brings continuity, familiarity and reassurance to our clients and is the very base our success is built on.

But it isn’t the general trend across the workplace in this country. The average turnover of staff for industries in the UK is about 15%. In the care industry it can be anything from 27% to 32%. This is very high in comparison.

When staff turnover is high, organisations, clients and staff can suffer.

Fortunately, we at Kemble at Home do not have this problem and we have excellent figures in staff retention.

More than half our staff have been with us more than three years, while 11 carers have been here 10 years and some more than 18 years.

It means our whole operation runs more smoothly and keeps our clients happy in the knowledge that carers going into their home to see to their everyday needs are known to them and can be totally trusted.

As we move forward in 2017 we will be introducing some new ideas and expanding our client base. But our main goal is to continue to maintain excellence and provide the ultimate care for our clients in their own homes.

Retaining our loyal and talented staff will be of great importance to all concerned along the way.
