On Thursday 12 September 2019, the Award Ceremony of the Hereford Times Health & Social Care Awards took place. Based on nominations from clients, their relatives, and employees, awards were presented to those who stood out for their skills and attitude in the social care sector.

And we are very proud to say that members of our team were nominated in three categories, with two ended up taking the award home!

The nominees are...​​
1. Lorraine - The Dignity in Care Award
Lorraine was nominated for the Dignity in Care Award, because she "goes above and beyond to provide the very best for her clients". One client said, "Lorraine truly is a special person and dedicated carer" who "truly made a difference".
2. Katie - The Domiciliary Care Worker Award
Katie received a raving nomination for the domiciliary care award, which applauded her for being "an exceptional carer" and "extremely proactive". We already knew that she is amazing, of course.
3. Kemble at Home - The Care Employer Award
We were nominated for the Care Employer Award, and were described as "the best company in the region to work for", where staff feels trusted and "appreciated by the managers".
And the winner is...
We are incredibly proud that Lorraine won the Dignity in Care Award, and that we won the best Care Employer Award! We all had a great evening and will be celebrating for a while. Many thanks to everybody for nominating members of our team, we truly appreciate your support and faith in us.
