Kemble at Home is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), England’s regulator of health and social care. The CQC periodically inspects the quality of our care services, and their reports are publicly available online. In our latest review, we were rated 'outstanding' for Caring and ‘good’ in all other areas. Click here to read the report.

The easy thing to do is to give us a call on 01432 352443. We will arrange to come and visit you, at a time and place of your convenience, to discuss what you would like to achieve and how we can be of help. Once you have made your decision, we will together draft a ‘Support Plan’, which includes all the relevant details about how we will work together.

Our staff are the cornerstone of who we are, and it is imperative to us that they share our attitudes and core values. All our staff go through an extensive recruitment process before working with us. Naturally, we take extensive measures to ensure your personal safety, and all our carers are vetted and undergo a DSB (Criminal Records Check) before working with clients.

All our carers are thoroughly trained by us, in-house and in-person. They are trained to support in a wide variety of complex physical conditions, including dementia, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis, to name but a few. Further, the training covers among other topics basic first aid and medication, personal care, safeguarding, and the Mental Capacity Act.

We can start almost immediately after our first assessment, usually between 24 and 48 hours.

Our offices are open from 8.30am to 5:00pm Monday - Thursday and 8:30am to 4:00pm on Friday. Aside from this, we operate an out-of-hours emergency service which is manned from 7am to 10pm.  During these hours, there is always someone at the end of the telephone line to assist with any support-related emergencies.

All our prices are inclusive, there are no hidden costs. The costs will depend on your personal situation and preferences – for more information see our ‘live-in care’ and ‘visiting care’ pages. Some people will be entitled to financial assistance, either from their local Social Services office or via other Government grants.

In addition to being regularly inspected by the CQC, England’s health and social care regulation body, we have sophisticated systems in place to ensure our staff provides high quality care. All our staff are thoroughly trained, and we work closely together with other healthcare professionals to ensure that our services are in line with the latest developments in healthcare. Our office staff provides continuous support to our carers and clients and regularly touch base with our clients to discuss whether there is anything that we can do to improve our services.
